2008 Recent Grad Reunion
2008 was the second annual year for the Recent Grad Reunion. The classes of 2003-2008 came together to celebrate this event. Over 600 recent grads came back to campus to enjoy their reunion weekend. The weekend started with a Meet & Greet held at the Alumni Associations Founder’s Room. The Michigan Student Assembly, African American Alumni Council, and the Hispanic Alumni Council kicked off the first inaugural affinity reunions. Friday night continued the reunion at the Wolverine Club for a time of food, drinks, dancing, karaoke, and pool.
Saturday began in the traditional Michigan way with a tailgate at the University Golf Course. Special guests included President Mary Sue Coleman and the President of the Alumni Association, Steve Grafton. Over 500 people attended and really got into the Maize and Blue spirit. The afternoon football game was a perfect opportunity to relive a football Saturday. The game was full of excitement till the very end and the Recent Grads enjoyed the great seats in the Big House.
The second annual Recent Grad Reunion was a huge success! We look forward to planning many more reunions to come.
GO BLUE!
