2007 Recent Grad Reunion

2007 was the inaugural year for the Recent Grad Reunion.  The classes of 2001-2007 came together to celebrate this event and made the most of it.  Over 650 recent grads came back to campus to celebrate and see what the new Reunion program had to offer.  Many celebrated on Friday evening at the Michigan Casino Night which saw a grand prize drawing of a trip for two to anywhere in the world…as well as other mementos like a “Taste of Ann Arbor” basket and a “Sports Memorabilia” basket. 

Saturday began in the traditional Michigan way with a tailgate at the University Golf Course.  Special guests included President Mary Sue Coleman and the Michigan Marching Band.  Over 500 people attended and really got into the Maize and Blue spirit.  The afternoon football game was a perfect opportunity to relive a football Saturday.  Although the game was a little disappointing all the grads had a great time and enjoyed very good seats.

The first Recent Grad Reunion was a success.  We look forward to planning many more reunions to come.  It isn’t a reunion unless it is a Michigan Reunion!”
